All of the plans are part of the Cigna Open Access Plus network and offer access to high-quality medical care, including free preventive care. The main difference is in how you pay for healthcare coverage and expenses.

Traditional Plan

  • Higher premiums in exchange for a lower deductible
  • Copays for certain services
  • Once deductible is met, you and the plan share cost of services (coinsurance)

HDHP with HSA

  • Lower premiums in exchange for a higher deductible
  • Deductible must be met before the plan begins to pay
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) option, where you can set aside pre-tax contributions for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.  Inotiv contributes to this account too!
